Our POWER System/IBM i Observability and Tuning platform is an aggregated behavioral analysis solution basing on statistical methods and AI/ML algorithms, capable of capturing dependencies between phenomena occurring in the system. The software works as:
24/7 digital worker – Continuously monitors the system (or a group of systems), detecting anomalies and filtering false-positive alarms. Operating on real-time data, in the context of the business characteristics of the system(s). The system analyzes the complete set of system metrics in real-time, but presents only the key/meaningful ones, together with guidelines for the certain load metrics, thus eliminating the need for manual interpretation and ensuring safe day-to-day operations. Through integration with IBM POWER system console (HMC) allows for integration of overall IBM POWER hardware-wise metrics with LPAR-based data.
Advanced advisor - Interpreting big data in real time against the background of both historical data and the knowledge base, it is possible to immediately identify deviations from both the 'general norm' of the business load as well as on the 'typical behavior” of a given system. Advisor can then autonomously generate real-time precise (re)configuration recommendations - for iOS and DB2 - through AI/ML supported behavioral analysis over aggregated data. This also enables trend analysis and clear reasoning for accurate decision-making with no more guesses or incomplete justifications.
